Westminster
College, one of America's finest liberal arts colleges, was founded in 1852 in association with the United Presbyterian
Church. The college is a major factor in the life and economy of New Wilmington. The community is invited to attend
many musical, theatrical, sports, and professional entertainer events. Westminster's campus is huge for a small school. Its
lake alone is a mile around, and acts as a backdrop for New Wilmington's Fourth of July concert and fireworks. Both education
and facilities at Westminster are first class.
